如果要做一篇夏天的歌单，一定要加一首Gotta Have You. 这首歌曲风清爽自然，女声低声轻喃，有种夏天午后慵懒的感觉。它曾出现在无数美剧、电影中，发行于2006年3月，出自民谣夫妻档The Weepies乐队。
The Weepies是由Deb Talan和Steve Tannen组成的Folk-Pop二重奏乐队，两人初次相遇是在Tannen的波士顿音乐会上。在此之前，两人都已各自发表过自己的作品（Deb Talan发行过3张，Steve Tannen发行过2张）。二人相互钦佩，很快就一起开始创作歌曲，The Weepies乐队就诞生了。
The Weepies发行过5张正式专辑，Gotta Have You收录在第2张专辑《Say I Am You》中。这张专辑广受好评，屡获媒体推荐、美国iTunes Folk歌曲榜冠军，下载榜冠军等肯定。
2013年的圣诞节，成员Deb Talan被诊断出乳腺癌，她一边治疗一边坚持在家中的录音室进行创作。2014年夏天Deb成功击败癌症恢复健康，The Weepies于2015年发行第五张正式专辑《Sirens》。
