For many years, there has been a public discussion about the heavy living pressure which leads people to choose job security for the steady incomes. As opposed to the argument that a permanent job is preferable for modern people, some people hold the view that people should put job satisfaction at first. From my perspective, I approve of the latter opinion.

There are several reasons for my viewpoint as rendered below. Firstly, since interest is the first step to success, why shouldn’t we choose the jobs we enjoy even without job security temporarily? If you are satisfied with your job, you will sharpen your professional skills, which are crucial for successful career development. So job security are not so important if you consider these professional skills. In addition, it is impossible to maintain long term health without enjoying what you do and preventing stress accumulation in the tedious hours of work.

Some people believe that because of great living pressure such as rocketing prices of housing, education and health care, people have to place importance on steady incomes. But people have to pay a great price if they want of create a brilliant future. I feel that it is impossible to achieve great success without pursuing lofty ideals even in front of hardships and setbacks and living pressure should never serve as the excuse for us to give up the long-term struggling for the promising future.

From what has been discussed above, we may finally draw the conclusion that job satisfaction should be prioritized over security despite some doubtful voices. Only when we lay a solid foundation by sharpening our skills in our favorite job can we ensure the brilliant future both in life and the workplace.
