岚桥港位于山东半岛南翼、黄海海州湾北侧日照市岚山区，是鲁南经济带和河南、山西、陕西、甘肃等中西部地区最近的出海口。依照国务院批准的《日照港区总体规划》，岚桥港共规划为南部、东部和北部三个作业区，规划设计建设32个泊位，年设计通过能力超过3亿吨。液化和油品作业区布置5000吨级-15万吨级泊位11个，大宗散货作业区布置10万吨级-40万吨级泊位5个，多功能作业区布置5-20万吨级泊位14个,原油泊位作业区布置30万吨级原油泊位2个。目前已建成投产泊位9个，年设计通过能力8000万吨。在建泊位7个，年设计通过能力5000万吨。
