词类转换法(conversion)是基于两种语言习惯的不同，在翻译中保留词语意义而改变此类的做法。

1.Maya Angelou returned to America in 1964, with the intention of helping Malcolm build his new Organization of African American Unity.

玛雅 安琪露于 1964 年返回美国，打算帮助马尔科尔木新建立一 个非裔美籍人联合会。

2.Shortly after her arrival in the United States, Malcolm was assassinated, and his plans for a new organization died with him.
