国庆长假期间，除了吃喝玩乐，不少武汉市民还想寻找一处静谧的心灵港湾。被誉为“武汉最美图书馆”的青山图书馆新馆，自2022年5月亮相以来，吸引了众多读者前来打卡，国庆期间更是人气爆棚。

During the National Day holiday, in addition to enjoying culinary and leisure experiences, many Wuhan citizens were also in search of a tranquilharbor for their souls. The new Qingshan Library, known as “the most beautiful library in Wuhan”, has attracted many readers since its debut in May 2022, gaining even more popularity during the 7-day National Day holiday.

10月3日上午9时30分许，极目新闻记者来到青山图书馆新馆。虽然开馆才半个小时，馆中已有不少读者。

At about 9:30 a.m. on October 3, Jimu News reporters arrived at the new library. Despite only being open for half an hour, many readers had already arrived.

记者看到，该馆共4层，设计风格结合了“青山绿水红钢城”的理念。1层为24小时城市书房，入口通道采用蓝色穹顶。书房里有多种智能设备，读者办证、借书均可自助完成。读者还书后，书架会自动识别书的位置，方便下一位读者检索。阅览室配有沙发和桌椅，适合读者潜心阅读。

The library, with a total of 4 floors, is designed in a style that combines the concept of “green mountains, clear waters and a Red Steel city”. The first floor is a 24-hour study with a blue dome for the entrance. The study room, equipped with a variety of intelligent self-service devices, enables every reader to obtain library cards and borrow books on their own. Bookshelves automatically locate a returned book, making it easier for the next reader to retrieve it. With the reading room furnished with sofas, chairs and desks, visitors are better able to immerse in their reading.

3楼的白色旋转扶梯，在网上人气最高，垂吊的白色字母和汉字组成的吊灯充满艺术气息。“早就听说青山图书馆适合拍照打卡，所以我和朋友一大早就从江岸区赶来体验。”冯女士对记者说。

The white rotary staircase on the third floor has drawn wide attention on the Internet for its chandeliers. They are composed of white letters and Chinese characters which give them with an artistic charm. “I’ve heard that Qingshan Library is a popular spot to take pictures, so I came here with my friends all the way from Jiang’an District first thing in the morning.” Ms. Feng said to the reporter.

4楼的阅读空间更加开阔，分为成人阅读区、少儿阅读区等3个主要阅读区域。馆内的“哈利·波特主题书房”有哈利·波特系列全集，还有一张可以投影和互动的圆桌，让人仿佛置身霍格沃茨的魔法世界。此外，可沉浸式体验文房四宝的“三味书屋”和画展、非遗展等特色展区，人气也很高。

The reading space on the fourth floor is even more wide in terms of its three main sections: adult’s and children’s reading areas and so on. A Harry Potter themed study in the library provides the complete works of the Harry Potter series, as well as a round table, making visitors feel like they are in the Wizarding World of Hogwarts. In addition, visitors can immerse themselves in the quaint “Sanwei Study” and other special exhibition areas such as the art and intangible cultural heritage exhibitions.

工作人员介绍，青山图书馆现存图书30万册。国庆期间，该馆推出了多项活动，包括女性法律科普公益讲座、英文绘本赏析、名家讲课、书画作品展等，有兴趣的读者可通过青山图书馆微信公众号报名参与。

According to the staff there, the library now has a collection of 300,000 volumes of books. During this Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day Holiday, the library launched a number of activities, including a public lecture on women’s legal science, appreciation of English storybooks, lecture by renowned experts and exhibition of calligraphy and painting. Interested readers can make reservations via the library’s official WeChat account, Qingshan Library.
