首先，租房的英语需要分情况来说明，如果你说rent a house，别人可能会觉得你家里有矿。因为house是那种，独门独院的房子，相当于一栋小别墅，而咱们的租房一般就是租一间房、公寓或单元房

如果是租公寓、单元房，可以用rent an apartment/a flat

现在大多数人选择跟别人合租，也就是自己只租一间房

租单间就可以用rent a room,从某人那里租一间房可以在后面加from
