说到植树节，正宗的说法，可不是Tree Planting Day。植树节于1872年在美国内布拉斯加州最早开始，是鼓励个人和团队种植和爱护树木的一个节日。它的正统说法应该是“Arbor Day”。不仅仅是在美国，更多的国家陆续加入了庆祝它的行列，中华人民共和国于3月12日庆祝植树节。

在英语中，“tree”除了表示“树”之外，还有其他的用法：

1.  be barking up the wrong tree方法搞错（或想偏）；走错路线。

【例句】You're barking up the wrong tree if you're expecting us to lend you any money.

to not see or understand the main point about sth, because you are paying too much attention to small details
