 孙像镍币是法币的辅币，正面摹刻有孙中山先生肖像，背面刻有布币图。布币是中国古代货币，是从青铜农具（古代锄类农具）演变而来。该辅币从1936年开铸，到1943年停铸，于1949年退出流通，最后进入收藏市场。国民政府未充分回收，今日民间存世量较少。

 近日观鉴栏目组有幸征集到赵先生的民国二十五年孙像五分镍币，直径2.1cm，重：4.5g珍币原为祖传旧藏，目前所见均为大字版，小字版为仅见，该币当年共有二种设计样币，初次为大字版，是参照金本位半圆图案设计、因此水波纹、帆船、壹圆等图样几乎近似，第二次为小字版是依照二十四年中元银币图案设计，该大字版是上海中央造币厂留存下来的唯一实物，是研究国民政府实行法币政策而应对金融改革的宝贵历料。
