赵嘉雍是我几年前在网上认识的。记得她在一个绘画群里发了几张画，当时我偶然看到，就觉得有种专业画家没有的稚拙气息。后来才知道她已年近古稀。
后来我们熟悉了，我才了解她从小喜欢画画，但真正拿起画笔，还是退休后不再带孙子的时候，想实现童年的梦想，做一个像摩西太太那样的快乐自在的画者 。
她的画，意趣盎然，天真稚拙。造型古朴，色彩独特，生活气息浓厚，有自己识别度很高的绘画语言。整体的造型与肯定的用线，将东方古典趣味和现代表现性元素有机地结合起来。丰富的人生阅历在画面中体现得执着朴素而又坚实饱满。
她是勤奋的画者，既不断学习前辈的经验，也注重挖掘自己的内在潜能。能从个人经历与生活环境中生发出源源不断的题材。她想象丰富，思维跳跃，而又下笔真诚，有强烈的感情和持久的表达力。
赵嘉雍虽然年过古稀，但我觉得她还有无穷的潜力。正如她想成为一个“没有受过专业训练的全职画者”那样，她不但画得多，且每一张都倾注了全副热诚。她不自觉地坚守了童心，也自然地拥有了自己独特的语言。
在我看来，她已经是一个素人画者中很有成就的优秀画家。

Jiayong Zhao and her paintings
Jiayong Zhao was a net friend I met several years ago. I remember she sent a few paintings in a painting group and I chanced to see them in which I felt a childlike temperament that professional painters lack. Only later did I know that she was nearly seventy years old.
When we became familiar with each other later, I realized that she liked painting since she was a child, but it was not until she finished helping the two daughters with bringing up their kids that she managed to pick up the paintbrush.She wants to make the dream in childhood come true, to be a happy painter like Mrs. Moses.
Full of interest and naivety, her paintings are simple in shape, unique in color, thick in life flavour, and highly recognizable in painting language.The overall composition and definite use of lines organically combine the oriental classical taste and modern expressive elements. Her rich life experience embodies persistence, simple, solidity, and richness in the paintings.
As a diligent painter, she not only learns from the predecesssors' experience, but also devotes herself to tapping her own potential. That she can generate a steady stream of themes from her personal experience and living environment owes to her rich imagination, leaping thinking, sincere painting, strong feelings and lasting expression.
Although Mrs. Zhao is over the age of 70, I think she still has infinite potential. She not only paints a lot, but also devotes herself to each one as she wants to be a "full-time painter without professional training". She unconsciously sticks to her naivety and naturally has her own unique language.
From my point of view, she is already an outstanding artist with great achievements among amateur painters.

Jiayong Zhao
was born on May 16th, 1946, started working as an accountant in 1961, retired in 2001, and has been painting since 2016.
Seventy-six years old.
At the age of 70, she began to study painting under the supervision of contemporary artist Dr. HeMas.
