Greet Spring, Embrace Nature

Dear Jim，

How are you recently? I'm Liu Hua, I'm studying in Hongxing Middle School. Next month, our school will hold a cycling race which theme is“Greet Spring, Embrace Nature”. Hearing you are passionate about the cycling race, I'm going to introduce this activity to you.

We will gather at 10 o'clock in the morning at the school gate and then go to the cycling park in the suburb by bus. Upon arrival, we will be divided into several groups and then rent bikes to start cycling around the lake inside the park. First, we will go to the lake which called “Apple Lake”. Then, we will practice cycling around that lake for about two hours. After all students are familiar with the route, we will gather again. At 2:00 p.m., the competition will start. The top 10 students who reach the destination first will be awarded delicate gifts. Also, we will have a picnic together, share what we have in our backpacks. It is a fantastic opportunity to get close to nature and to feel the vigor of spring. You can relax yourself and enjoy the breathtaking scenery while doing race.

As for this cycling activity, you should wear your helmet, and a pair of protective gloves. Besides, clothes should be prepared in order to change after them get wet. Last but not least, you should remember to bring a small medical box, if you get injured, you can quickly solve it. you should remember that safety is more important than the race.
