前言
Introduction
2023年是共建“一带一路”倡议提出10周年，基于东亚、西亚两大文明古国——中国、伊朗在共建“一带一路”倡议下的优良合作关系，基于两国人民对彼此文化的理解、认同，基于对人类文明新形态与人类命运共同体的价值理念的共同守护、对人类共生共处之道的深度探寻，兰州大学、敦煌研究院于2023年10月举办以“中华文明与波斯文明的交流与互鉴”为主题的论坛（国际会议），以期中伊两国文化交流、文明互鉴相关领域的专家学者汇聚一堂、共襄盛举。
2023 is the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative. Since its inception, China and Iran have forged a strong cooperative relationship marked by mutual cultural understanding and appreciation,with a commitment to the welfare of all nations and their shared global future. Amidst this backdrop, Lanzhou University and the Dunhuang Academy of China are hosting a conference with the theme “The Chinese and Iranian Civilizations: A Dialogue”, affording scholars working in ChineseIranian dialogue (and related fields)a unique opportunity to share research and seek an even brighter future for the two ancient civilizations.
