"去公司"为什么少用go to the company

"去公司"外国人极少说go to the company，同样的 "我在/不在公司"老外也几乎不说 I'm in/out of the company.

go to 在表示去哪个地方的时候,后面要加具体地点，比如：

①go to the park 去公园

②go to the movie theater 去电影院

company是相对虚拟的东西不是具体的地点，go to the company外国人一般很少这样说。

说到这很多童鞋一定会问：为什么ceremony（[ˈserəmoʊni] 典礼），party，meeting,不是具体的地点，但却有这些表达？

①go to the ceremony（出席典礼）

②go to the meeting（参加会议）

③go to the party（参加派对）

以上主要是因为go除了"去"这个意思,还可以表示"出席、参加"

“去公司”究竟该怎么说比较地道？

①go to the office 强调去办公室（地点）

②go to work 强调去工作（干什么）
